Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Card, its first-ever credit card in the US, giving users a new way to earn cash rewards on everyday spending while getting perks on Samsung purchases. The card arrives just ahead of Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event and is designed to tie closely into the brand's existing Samsung Wallet ecosystem.

Samsung Galaxy Card Features, Cashback and Benefits

The Galaxy Card offers different cashback rates depending on where you spend. Users earn 5% cashback on purchases made through Samsung channels, including Samsung.com, Samsung retail stores and the Galaxy Store.

Transactions made using Samsung Wallet qualify for 3% cashback, while subscriptions to services like Netflix, Disney+ and Spotify earn 2% cashback. All other purchases receive a flat 1% cashback.

Samsung is also offering a welcome bonus. Customers who spend $2,000 (approximately Rs 1,92,500)  within the first 90 days of opening the account will receive an additional $200 (approximately Rs 19,500) in cashback.

Cardholders will also receive a 20% discount on Samsung's VIP Advantage Membership, along with 5% cashback when purchasing or renewing the subscription.

The Samsung Galaxy Card is issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank and operates on the Visa network, meaning it can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.

It will be available as both a virtual card and a premium matte black metal card. According to Samsung, the card is deeply integrated with Samsung Wallet, allowing users to manage it alongside payment cards, IDs, boarding passes, digital keys and other supported credentials.

The South Korean giant also notes that the Galaxy Card benefits from Samsung Knox security. However, beyond Wallet integration and Samsung-specific rewards, Samsung has not announced any exclusive payment features that distinguish it from a traditional credit card.
