Last month, Samsung silently launched the Galaxy A08 in India as one of its most affordable phones. Now, the brand has silently listed the Samsung Galaxy M08 and the Galaxy F08 on its India website, without any formal announcement.
Samsung Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 Specifications and Features
Samsung's new Galaxy M08 and the Galaxy F08 share identical specs with different names. Both phones have a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a teardrop-style notch for the selfie camera.
Underneath, the phones are powered by the same MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset and are paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Both phones also come with a hybrid SIM slot, with support for a microSD card of up to 2 TB.

On the software side, both the Galaxy M08 and the Galaxy F08 run Android 17 out of the box with the One UI skin on top. Samsung is promising 6 major OS and security updates for both Galaxy phones.
That means these phones will be supported until 2032 or till Android 23, which is rare for a budget phone. They also get features like Circle to Search, Quick Share, and Knox Vault for security.

In terms of battery, both phones pack a big 6,000mAh cell capacity with 25W fast charging support. However, the Galaxy M08 and the Galaxy F08 do not come with a charger in the box.
Camera-wise, both phones are fitted with a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP secondary sensor at the back. They also have an 8 MP selfie camera.
Rest, the Galaxy M08 and the Galaxy F08 feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 5, dual-SIM 4G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS and a USB-C 2.0 port. Both phones are also IP64-rated for dust and water resistance.
