Samsung is gearing up to launch the budget-friendly Galaxy M17 5G in India on October 10, 2025. The brand has also revealed a couple of the phone's key specifications.
Galaxy M17 5G will come with Gorilla Glass Victus
Earlier today, the Galaxy M17 5G launch date was tipped to be October 9, 2025. However, the official confirmation has now teased it to be a day late.

The Galaxy M17 5G Amazon microsite is live right now and alongside the launch date, it confirms a 50 MP "No Shake Cam" for the phone. Additionally, we also get to know that this primary rear camera will be accompanied by a 5 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro shooter. At the front, the smartphone will feature a 13 MP selfie shooter.
Apart from that, Samsung also confirms "Monster Grade Durability" for the Galaxy M17 5G. "Endure the bumps and rule every terrain. Be it fatal falls, water or dust, shrug it off like a Monster," the marketing materials flaunt. To back it up, Samsung has thrown in Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the device alongside an IP54 rating.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G is also sleek and slim at 7.5mm. The upcoming budget device will also feature Circle to Search and offer Music Search, Text Search and Image Search.
However, that's about where the confirmed details end. But keeping in mind the Galaxy M16 5G specs, we can expect the M17 5G to arrive with the following:
- 6.7-inch Full HD+ 90 Hz AMOLED display
- MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor
- Android 15-based One UI 7
- 50 MP main camera, 5 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP macro
- 13 MP selfie camera
- 5,000mAh battery and 25W USB-C charging
For now, this is all that we know about the device and going by that, we can expect the device to be priced under Rs 15,000 in the country. However, with the Galaxy M17 5G launch date in India being just days away, we won't have to wait for long to know all the details.
