Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy M17 5G in India, offering a big AMOLED display, a 50 MP camera and more for under Rs 13,000. With that said, here's a rundown of the Galaxy M17 5G specifications, as well as its pricing and availability details.

Samsung Galaxy M17 5G flaunts a 50 MP camera

The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G is equipped with a primary 50 MP camera with OIS. Accompanying the main shooter are a 5 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro shooter. For selfies, there's a 13 MP camera housed within a waterdrop notch.

The newly launched budget Samsung phone offers a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. This panel also offers a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, ensuring good visibility even under direct sunlight. Protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, the display is made to withstand everyday wear and tear. The display is encased within a slim 7.5mm body that's easy to hold and use. 

Despite the slim form, the Galaxy M17 5G packs a generous 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The phone uses a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Exynos 1330 chipset, coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Additionally, the storage is also expandable up to 2 TB via a microSD card slot. 

Out of the box, the Galaxy M17 5G runs on Android 15-based One UI 7, offering six years of major OS updates and security patches. There's also an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. Connectivity options are adequate with Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS and NFC.
