The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G features a 6.7-inch 120 Hz Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. It has minimal bezels on the side but a noticeable chin at the bottom. The display sits on a 7.7mm thick body and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.

At the back, there's not much going on in terms of design, apart from the pill-shaped camera module. It is home to a 50 MP primary camera with OIS and 4K video support, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a third 2 MP macro sensor. The selfie camera is a 13 MP shooter, and it also supports 4K video recording capabilities.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Samsung Exynos 1380 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It also comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support. However, the adapter does not come in the box and is sold separately.

On the software side, the device ships with One UI 7 based on Android 15.
