At the start of September 2025, Samsung globally unveiled its new "Fan Edition" version phone of the year – the Galaxy S25 FE. Within weeks, the brand has officially launched the device in India and here's a rundown of the specifications, price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE in the country. 

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Specifications and Features

This year's Fan Edition phone follows its predecessors by bringing some key features of the flagship Galaxy S25 to a more budget-oriented user base. The Galaxy S25 FE is powered by Samsung's Exynos 2400 chipset that's paired with a "10% larger vapour chamber" and comes bundled with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

On the outside, the phone features a 6.7-inch 120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. This display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ alongside an "Armour" Aluminium chassis. The phone weighs in at 190 grams and measures 7.4mm in terms of thickness. All variants of the phone come with glossy back panels with the "Samsung" logo engraved at the bottom. 

Samsung is offering a triple camera set up on the Galaxy S25 FE, comprising a 50 MP main camera with OIS, 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens and 8 MP telephoto 3x optical lens. Imaging on the front is possible courtesy of a 12 MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. In addition to upgraded sensors, the phone comes with AI ProVisual Engine, Photo Assist and Instant SlowMo for better imaging.

The Galaxy S25 FE runs on One UI 8 based on Android 16 and is set to receive up to seven years of software and security updates. In terms of battery, the S25 FE equips a 4,900mAh unit that supports 45W fast USB-C PD charging as well as 25W wireless charging. 

Samsung has rated the Galaxy S25 FE at IP68 for water and dust resistance. The phone also offers an ultrasonic fingerprint, stereo speakers, NFC, USB-C 2.0 port, Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E. 

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Price in India and Sale Date

The Galaxy S25 FE will retail in India for a starting price of Rs 59,999 for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant and it will be available from September 29, 2025 on the official Samsung store, retail outlets and other online portals. Here is a table detailing the variants and their prices in India:
