Samsung is holding its "Galaxy Event August 2026" today, on August 27, 2026, and while the company still hasn't named the device outright, all signs point to the Galaxy S26 FE finally launching. How to Watch Galaxy S26 FE Launch Livestream
The Galaxy S26 FE launch event kicks off today at 12:00 PM UTC, which translates to 5:30 PM IST, 1:00 PM BST and 8:00 AM ET.
Samsung will livestream the keynote on both Samsung.com and its official YouTube channel, so you won't need an invite or a ticket to watch, just a working internet connection.
Samsung's press materials describe the event as introducing "the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family," bringing "the core Galaxy S26 experiences from camera to AI, along with the latest One UI,". This language further lines up squarely with a Fan Edition launch rather than anything entirely new.

What to Expect from the Galaxy S26 FE
Thanks to a massive earlier dump of 26 leaked promotional images of the Galaxy S26 FE, there's very little left to speculate about here. The leaked marketing materials point to a sleek, flat aluminium frame and back panel, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ up front, with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The rear camera module has also been redesigned into a vertical island layout, moving away from the individually protruding lenses seen on the Galaxy S25 FE. If true, this could allow the Galaxy S26 FE to stay visually consistent with the rest of the Galaxy S26 lineup. The leaks point to three colourways: Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio.
The camera setup is expected to include a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide and an 8 MP telephoto lens, alongside a 12 MP selfie camera.
The display and battery could remain unchanged from last year, with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel offering up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, fueling the phone is said to be a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging.
On the inside, the same leaked materials point to Samsung's own Exynos 2500 chipset, the same 10-core, 3nm processor that powers the Galaxy Z Flip 7, paired with 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
The leaked materials also point to a few software features carrying over from the standard Galaxy S26 series, including Horizon Lock, Circle to Search, Samsung's Audio Eraser and the My FanCam feature. The phone is said to be running One UI 9 on top.
An earlier Galaxy S26 FE price leak also suggested that the phone could start from around 799 euros (approximately Rs 89,000) for the base 128 GB model, slightly higher than the Galaxy S25 FE.
Given the S25 FE started at Rs 59,999 in India, a similar or marginally higher starting price between Rs 65,000 and Rs 70,000 seems likely for its successor.
