It does not justify its high starting price, especially since there are some fairly good alternatives at lower prices.

The removable camera deco also brings something new to the table. However, its price makes it a tough sell, given that there are quite a few options in this segment.

The Dimensity 9500 delivers smooth day-to-day performance and gaming, while the compact display is bright and punchy. The triple 50 MP cameras are the cherry on top and capture some incredible shots. Meanwhile, the massive battery easily lasts a full day. Add ColorOS 16 to that with long-term software support and you've got a near-perfect compact flagship that suffers from certain drawbacks.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus is the perfect high-end phone for everyone who prefers a baseline flagship over the top-of-the-line model without compromising on battery or software. It has the same powerful chipset as its “Ultra” sibling, alongside a similarly-rated battery life and a vibrant display. While the camera is pretty consistent all around, you’ll get better options for the price, if that’s what you prefer.

The Oppo Find X9s is a well-rounded compact flagship killer in a post-RAM crisis world. Its bright AMOLED panel, premium build quality, excellent cameras and super reliable performance strengthen the package big time. However, the lack of wireless charging and the presence of preloaded apps, alongside the existence of the standard Find X9 for just Rs 5,000 more, slightly weaken the Find X9s' value proposition.

The Xiaomi 14 is an excellent phone that packs a lot of bells and whistles. The Leica cameras produce rich shots and the screen is bright and punchy. However, the small body tends to trap heat during gaming, and HyperOS doesn't offer the best experience. It’s a great phone for those looking for a compact all-around flagship, but not an ideal choice for gaming or battery endurance.

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra offers a clamshell phone experience that’s very close to perfect. Both displays are a treat to use, and the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite keeps things snappy. The battery, too, is excellent for a foldable and charges extremely fast. However, the phone is prone to throttling and misses out on a telephoto lens. Overall, Razr 60 Ultra is a top-tier foldable phone with an exciting design, excellent displays, and good performance.

The iPhone 16 Plus is a stretched-out version of the base iPhone 16 on paper, but with a bigger display and better battery life for the extra price. Although the lack of ProMotion display and a slower charging are annoying, the iPhone 16 Plus is still a good purchase if you want a modern iPhone with a powerful chipset and good cameras.

The Pixel 9 is unmistakably Pixel. Its main selling points are cameras and software. Battery life is solid, but charging is really slow. The Pixel 9 isn’t for performance seekers though, as the Tensor G4 is adequate only for daily use. If you want the smartest Android experience with excellent cameras, and can overlook the performance aspect, the Pixel 9 is a good buy.

The Vivo X100 Pro does exactly what it sets out to do, i.e., taking excellent photos. The portraits genuinely rival DSLRs, the display is bright and crisp, performance hits the right notes, and the battery easily lasts for a day. To nitpick, the mediocre stereo speakers, and short OS update promise are the only letdown. Overall, it’s an excellent flagship phone for photography, with minor drawbacks.
