Alongside the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE smartphone, the South Korean tech brand has also introduced its next lineup of "Galaxy Tab S" series Android tablets – Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Both devices bring a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, S Pen support and Galaxy AI features. Here is a detailed breakdown of the specifications, pricing and availability details of Samsung's latest tablets.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra Specifications and Features
Starting with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, this is the biggest and most premium offering of the Galaxy Tab S11 series.
It is equipped with a 14.6-inch WQXGA+ 120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with anti-reflective coating, Dolby Vision playback, 1,600 nits of peak brightness, 1,000 nits of HBM and S Pen support. The panel is surrounded by thin bezels throughout, with a small teardrop notch at the top.

The overall footprint of the tablet is also thin at 5.1mm. However, in terms of its weight, it is on the heavier side at 695 grams, possibly due to the Armour Aluminium chassis it uses. For reference, the 13-inch iPad Pro weighs roughly 582 grams. Moreover, both the tablet and the included S Pen are IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.

Another big reason why the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is hefty is its battery capacity. At 11,600mAh, this is the biggest battery ever on a Galaxy tablet. Samsung claims up to 23 hours of uninterrupted video playback. It even features 45W fast USB-C charging for quick top-ups.

On the performance front, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is equipped with the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. It brings an overclocked ARM Cortex-X925 core and the Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU.
The chipset is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage, alongside a microSD card expansion of up to 2 TB.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra ships with One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box. Samsung will back the device with seven years of software and security updates.
It brings several Galaxy AI features like Gemini Live, AI Writing Assist, Circle to Search and more. There are also improvements to multitasking capabilities, the DeX Mode and added functionalities for the S Pen.

Moving on, the new Samsung Ultra tablet features a dual camera setup at the back with a 13 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide module. The front gets a singe 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens.
Apart from this, the all new Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra features an in-display fingerprint scanner, a quad stereo speaker setup, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G support, GPS, and a USB-C port.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Specifications and Features
Now, coming to the standard Galaxy Tab S11, it brings an 11-inch 120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2560 × 1600 pixels, Dolby Vision playback, 1,600 nits of peak brightness and S Pen support. However, unlike the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, it misses out on the anti-reflective coating.

Here as well, the panel is surrounded by even bezels throughout. However, compared to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, they are on the thicker side. Also, the notch is absent on the Galaxy Tab S11.
In terms of the tablet's overall footprint, it is 5.5mm thick and weighs around 471 grams. It uses the same enhanced Armour Aluminium for the chassis.

Under the hood, the base Galaxy Tab S11 also gets the higher clocked MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. However, unlike its bigger sibling, it can only pack up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. Here as well, the option to expand storage up to 1.5 TB via microSD card expansion is present.
Software-wise, the Galaxy Tab S11 features Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box as well and includes Galaxy AI features, multitasking, Samsung DeX refinements and enhanced S Pen support too. Samsung is promises seven years of updates with the regular model as well.

Now, coming to the battery, the Galaxy Tab S11 features a smaller cell at 8,400mAh. This is understandable since it has a small footprint when compared to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. However, just like its elder brother, it also supports 45W fast USB-C charging.

Even the cameras on the 11-inch tablet are toned down. While it features the same 12 MP ultra-wide camera at the front, it misses out on the 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens at the back and just has the 13 MP lens.
Other than that, Samsung is also treating the Galaxy Tab S11 with an IP68 rating, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a quad stereo speaker setup, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G support, GPS, and a USB-C port.
