A budget foldable from Samsung has been a long time coming, and it's finally here. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE at its Galaxy Unpacked event, and it has a lot in common with last year's Galaxy Z Flip 6 including its display, design and internals. Here's a detailed overview of the specifications, pricing and availability of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. 

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Specifications and Features

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED 2X display with 2640 x 1080 pixels resolution. The cover display is a 3.4-inch 60 Hz Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 720 × 748 pixels. The latter is the same size as the one on the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and it's protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The phone has a similar design, dimensions, weight, and camera alignment as the Galaxy Z Flip 6. It measures 6.9 mm when unfolded and 14.9 mm when folded. The chassis is made out of Armour Aluminium and the back is made of glass. There's IP48 rating for protection against dust and splashes of water.

Powering the device is the Samsung Exynos 2400 SoC which powered the previous generation Z Flip. It's a 10-core processor with 1 x Cortex-X4, 2 x Cortex-A720, 3 x Cortex-A720 and 4 x Cortex-A520 core architecture. It's coupled with Xclipse 940 GPU, which Samsung co-developed with AMD. The storage and RAM are UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5X.

The phone boasts dual rear cameras, with the primary being a 50 MP wide f/1.8 snapper with OIS and the secondary a 12 MP ultra-wide f/2.2 shooter. The front camera is a 10 MP f/2.2 unit for selfies. Software-wise, the Z Flip 7 FE comes with One UI 8 based on Android 16 with the promise of seven years of major Android updates.

The Z Flip 7 FE boasts a 4,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone also supports 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

Besides, it comes with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. There are stereo speakers for content consumption, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Price in India and Sale Date

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE comes in 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB variants and will start at $849 (approximately Rs 77,500). The phone will be available in two colours – White and Black
