When the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold went official in December 2025, it became the brand's boldest smartphone experiment yet. With its groundbreaking three-panel foldable design and sprawling 10-inch inner display, the Galaxy Z TriFold swept fans away in South Korea and the USA. Now, if you have been saving up to score the uber-expensive phone, hold your dollars, for the tri-fold will officially stop selling very soon.

No More Restocks of Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold in Korea and the USA

According to a new Bloomberg report, the $2,899 (approximately Rs 2,65,500) Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold will soon cease to exist in the USA and South Korea. As per a statement from unnamed Samsung spokesperson, Samsung will discontinue its first-ever triple-folding phone within only three months of launch.

The brand reportedly prepped only 6,000 units of the Galaxy Z TriFold to be sold in South Korea and the USA. Samsung has restocked the phone in Korea for the one final time and the official Samsung USA website already lists it as "sold out".

Bloomberg's report also states that while the Galaxy Z TriFold inventory has already dried up online, some fans based out of Texas and New York were able to snag the triple-folding phone at Samsung Experience Stores. Once the entire stock is pulled from the market, the only way to get the Galaxy Z TriFold is via third-party sellers, making it the rarest tri-fold on the planet.

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Specifications and Features

At the core, the Galaxy Z TriFold is a 10-inch immersive QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120 Hz display phone with a dual hinge mechanism. When unfolded, it enables mobile multitasking on a near tablet-like screen real estate, supporting up to three apps side-by-side for enhanced productivity. A secondary 6.5-inch AMOLED cover display provides a slab phone experience with a folded design.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for Galaxy and features a triple rear camera setup with a 200 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 10 MP 3x periscope telephoto sensor. For selfies, both the outer and inner displays feature 10 MP selfie cameras. Battery-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold features a 5,600mAh capacity with 45W fast USB-C and 15W wireless charging.

That said, while we do not know exactly why Samsung is not going to sell the Galaxy Z TriFold anymore, it seems like high costs and an extremely steep selling price is the primary reason.
