A few days back, Samsung finally made the much-awaited Galaxy Z TriFold official in South Korea. Now, after almost 10 days, the brand's debut triple-folding smartphone is finally up for sale in the country. And fans can't wait to get their hands on it.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold enters first sale in South Korea
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is priced at a whopping 3,594,000 won (approximately Rs 2,20,000). However, that has not discouraged fans and enthusiasts from going for the brand's first-ever triple-folding smartphone. Customers have queued at the Galaxy Experience Store in Seoul to get their hands on the smartphone.

This is understandable since Samsung already confirmed earlier that it will make a limited batch of the smartphone available for the first sale. So, it is understandable that people are eager to own this engineering feat. The smartphone is defined by its design and the hinge mechanism.
It comprises a single 6.5-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits of peak brightness. The outer display sits right in the middle with two hinges on the side facilitating the tri-fold mechanism.
When open, the smartphone reveals a massive 10-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits of peak brightness. This makes the Galaxy Z TriFold transform from a regular slab phone into a tablet-like form factor in a matter of seconds.

As for the other specs, the triple folding smartphone also brings the following upgrades:
- Armor Aluminium frame and Titanium Hinge
- Goilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection and IP48 rating
- Snapdragon 8 Elite processor
- OneUI 8 based on Android 16
- 200 MP main camera, 12 MP ultra-wide and 10 MP 3x telephoto lens
- 12 MP selfie camera (inner and outer)
- 5,600mAh battery with 45W fast USB-C charging and 15W wireless charging
