Samsung is making it much easier for Galaxy users to improve their sleep and track their running. In a new Samsung Health update, the brand has lowered the barrier to entry for its Sleep Coaching feature and more.
Samsung Health Gets Accessible Sleep Coaching
Samsung, in its blog post, announced the arrival of Samsung Health v6.24. The app makes sleep coaching more accessible. Instead of requiring a full seven days of tracking within a single month, the system now only needs three days of logged sleep data over a two-week period to activate.

Once enabled, the coaching tool gives users tailored weekly recommendations and daily habit checklists to help build a healthier sleep routine. Additionally, the update introduces a new Sleep Balance graph.
This visual, pentagon-shaped tool gives users a quick, at-a-glance overview of five sleep metrics, including overall sleep time, consistency and regularity, midnight awake periods, sleep satisfaction, and the user's generated Energy Score.
In addition, the update is also giving fitness tracking a substantial boost by expanding the running coach functionality. The update bumps the available training tiers from 10 to 12. These new, higher-level tiers are designed for intermediate and advanced runners looking to push their overall performance.

The app also integrates with Strava, one of the most popular fitness apps. Users can directly import their custom Strava Routes into the Samsung platform, syncing them to their Galaxy smartwatch for running, trail running, or cycling.
To show off these fitness achievements, Samsung has also added built-in social templates for quickly exporting and sharing workout statistics online.
All things considered, this update brings an upgraded health experience and is currently rolling out to users gradually and globally. This marks one of the key Samsung Health updates after its previous update earlier this year, which introduced a complete redesign.
