Samsung is preparing to revamp Samsung Health and its ecosystem as the brand has announced a major update coming to the app next week. The new Samsung Health update is expected to bring a completely fresh experience with a modern design and AI-driven tools that will make it easier for users to track their health efficiency.

Samsung Health Is Getting a Massive UI Revamp

Samsung has revealed in an official blog post that a new Samsung Health experience will begin rolling out starting June 8, 2026. This will bring a brand new user interface, which is not only cleaner but also displays the health information effectively, at a glance, so that users don't have to scroll through the interface.

The post also reveals that instead of overwhelming users with too much data at once, the app will take a smarter approach with a new Vitals system that will log nighttime metrics. This should help users see their respiratory pacing, skin temperature and blood oxygen statistics well.

Additionally, the Vascular Load tool has been changed to Heart Health Score, and it incorporates Sleep, Stress, and Body composition data to map out the long-term impact of your lifestyle habits. Besides, the update will also bring the Daily Cardio Load parameter, which will evaluate exertion against the user's maximum capacity and suggest a recovery process.

Lastly, there will be a Fitness Index stat which will compare your VO2 max, heart rate, and step counts against similar demographic groups to pinpoint areas for improvement and generate customised workout regimes to help users hit their goals more consistently.

Then there's also deeper dietary tracking, which will work in tandem with Antioxidant Index and AGEs Index. There are new features in the Environmental Awareness suit with new Hearing Health monitoring that tracks audio exposure across accessories.

Adding to this, Samsung has said that these features will run best in the brand's upcoming Galaxy Watches, the Watch 9, Watch 9 Classic and the Watch Ultra 2. For those unaware, they're expected to be unveiled in the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event rumoured for July 22, 2026, where Samsung will also unveil its Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
