Sony has officially added the Xperia 10 VII to its mid-range smartphone catalogue. The new model arrives with a refreshed design, a better Snapdragon chipset, upgraded camera hardware, while retaining its predecessor's big battery in a compact form. Here's a look at the complete specs, pricing and availability details of the device.
Sony Xperia 10 VII Specifications and Features
The Xperia 10 VII comes with a 6.1-inch OLED 120 Hz display with a Full HD+ 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. However, the phone adopts a 19:5:9 aspect ratio instead of Sony's traditionally tall 21:9 ratio. This is to make the phone feel more balanced in the hand while retaining the cinematic viewing experience of a flagship Xperia.

This panel is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a step up from the Xperia 10 VI's Victus protection. The phone also flaunts the IPX5, IPX8 and IP6X ratings.
To take the media streaming experience to the next level, Sony is also throwing in stereo speakers that are backed by Hi-Res audio and LDAC. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack to take advantage of, in case you're wondering.

As expected, Sony's latest mid-range Xperia maintains that sleek and lightweight build, measuring 8.3mm in thickness and weighing just 169 grams. Inside, there's a 5,000mAh battery with USB-C PD fast charging support. Sony promises a two-day backup with this battery capacity.

On the imaging front, Sony has given the Xperia 10 VII a much-needed boost. The rear camera setup now features a 50 MP primary lens and a 13 MP ultra-wide lens. There's also a dedicated shutter button to enable quick shooting.
"The new Shutter button instantly launches the camera – even if your screen is off for photos in a flash, so you won't miss important moments. Plus, it's backed by improved cameras to deliver stunning shots, day or night," states Sony.

Moreover, the sensors are now placed on a horizontal, pill-shaped design. That's a shift from the previous vertical camera module format and looks a lot like the iPhone Air. At the front, there's the same old 8 MP shooter.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with 8 GB of RAM. There's also 128 GB of storage to make use of, which can be expanded up to 2 TB with a microSD card.

On the software front, the Sony Xperia 10 VII runs on Android 15 right out of the box. The brand promises four years of major OS updates and six years of security patches. Additionally, there are AI features like Google's Circle to Search to take advantage of as well.
In terms of connectivity, the phone offers Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, 13 5G bands, GPS and NFC, among other things.
