At the ongoing MWC 2026 tech conference, Tecno has unveiled the Camon 50 Ultra 5G smartphone as the brand's latest camera-centric powerhouse. With a 50 MP telephoto shooter, a large battery and rugged durability, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra seems to be quite impressive on paper.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra Specifications and Features
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra arrives with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display offering a 1.5K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Dimensity 7400-Ultra chipset, paired with up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
Photography is where the Camon 50 Ultra truly shines with a 50 MP Sony LYT-700C main sensor with OIS, a 50 MP 3x telephoto lens and an 8 MP ultra-wide shooter. AI-enhanced modes like 60x SuperZoom and Super-Zoom FlashSnap add more value to the telephoto shooter. At the front, there's a 50 MP selfie camera to make use of.

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G also packs a big 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Durability isn't an afterthought either, with the phone boasting IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings, meaning it can handle everything from splashes to high-pressure water jets. There's also a MIL-STD-810 military-grade rating on top for added durability.
On the software front, the phone runs on Android 16-based HiOS 16 and is backed by a three-year software update promise from Tecno. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Infrared and the like.
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G pricing in Europe will start at somewhere around 400 euros (approximately Rs 42,500). However, the exact pricing and availability details are currently under wraps. The phone will be available in the Orange, Purple, Green and Black colourways.
