Smartphone brand Tecno is gearing up to launch its first TWS audio product in India. The Pova AI Buds Pro is launching next week with several AI-first features and specs like hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), as well as 40 hours of playback time.
Tecno Pova AI Buds Pro India Launch Date Announced
A dedicated Amazon microsite for the Tecno Pova AI Buds Pro confirms that the TWS earbuds will launch in India on August 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Interested folks can click on a dedicated "Notify Me" button to get a reminder on the day of launch.
The primary USP of the Pova AI Buds Pro is its AI-first approach to TWS earbuds. Unlike most TWS earbuds in the market, the AI Buds Pro are equipped with several AI-powered productivity suites.
For instance, the earbuds support an AI Meeting Summary feature which transcribes and summarises notes on the go. The AI Translation support brings a built-in real-time translation feature that can translate audio in up to 78 languages. For example, audio in Hindi can be translated to English and vice versa.
However, the most interesting feature of all is a Quick Note option. The charging case of the Pova AI Buds Pro will feature a red Quick Note button, which users can press and hold to record audio on the go.
What makes it more special is that the earbuds carry built-in storage, which can save audio files within the earbuds. This is similar to the Audio Snapshot feature found on the Nothing Ear 3a.
Beyond AI, the Tecno Pova AI Buds Pro specs are confirmed to include support for up to 48 dB hybrid ANC and dual-device pairing. The earbuds themselves offer a standard in-ear style design and comprise an 8-mic array, complete with Feedforward Mics, In-Call Mics and a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU).
Aside from that, Pova AI Buds Pro is rated to last for up to 40 hours, with the charging case included. The case supports both Qi wireless charging and USB-C wired charging. Pova AI Buds Pro also carry an IP55 rating for dust and splash resistance.
