Tecno Pova Slim 5G Launched with a 5,160mAh Battery and 5.95mm Thickness in India

After weeks of anticipation, the Tecno Pova Slim 5G is now official in India. Touted as the world's slimmest curved display phone, the device is sleek at 5.95mm. It also brings several other features to the table, like an over 5,000mAh battery capacity, a 144 Hz display and more. Here's a detailed rundown of the smartphone's specifications, pricing and availability details.

Tecno Pova Slim 5G Specifications and Features

As it is already evident, the Tecno Pova Slim 5G is all about being sleek and lightweight. It is the slimmest smartphone in the market right now at just 5.95mm. For context, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge launched earlier this year, is 5.8mm thick. It weighs a mere 156 grams.

Now, while the smartphone is notably thin and light, it still manages to offer a bigger battery. Tecno has equipped the Pova Slim 5G with a 5,160mAh battery. It has been able to achieve this feat thanks to the silicon carbon battery tech.

It even features 45W fast USB-C charging support. The brand claims that the smartphone can reach from 0 to 100 in 55 minutes.

Additionally, the design of the Tecno Pova Slim is also a major talking point. It features a horizontal camera module stretching across the top, housing two cameras and a light strip that Tecno calls the Dynamic Mood Light. An LED flash sits at the center of the camera island.

Speaking of cameras, the back is home to a 50 MP main sensor with a 2 MP macro shooter. There is also a 13 MP selfie camera at the front.

Talking about the smartphone's display, it features a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved 120 Hz AMOLED display with 240 Hz Touch Sampling Rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. It has a 92.6% screen-to-body ratio and is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i.

The Pova Slim 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. It can be paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The device ships with HiOS 15 based on Android 15. It brings Tecno's in-house multilingual Ella AI along with a no-network connectivity feature that uses Bluetooth for communication in the event of signal loss. The brand claims up to 5 years of lag-free experience.

Apart from this, the smartphone is IP64 rated for dust and water resistance, offers MIL-810H military-grade durability standard, an in-display fingerprint scanner, single speaker with Dolby Atmos support, Wi-Fi,Bluetooth, dual-SIM 5G support, Infrared sensor and a USB-C 2.0 port.

Tecno Pova Slim 5G Price in India and Sale Date

The Tecno Pova Slim 5G will retail for Rs 19,999 for the single 8 GB + 128 GB model. It will be up for sale starting September 8, 2025 via Flipkart and Tecno-authorised retail stores.

Interested buyers will be able to purchase the smartphone in the Sky Blue, Slim White and Cool Black colour options.
