The Tecno Pova 8 launched in India earlier this year in two colour options and already had a pretty distinctive look. But Tecno clearly felt it needed a little more charisma and has now added a new Plasma Orange colourway for the phone in India, giving its transparent-style rear a much louder finish.
Tecno Pova 8 Plasma Orange Design
The Plasma Orange colour variant of the Tecno Pova 8 brings a fresh coat of paint to the smartphone, which is similar in shade to the Cosmic Orange version of the iPhone 17 Pro. The rest of the smartphone follows a transparent back design similar to Nothing phones.
The new colourway also brings the Alive Matrix secondary display at the back. This is a small dot-matrix LED module to display 30+ widgets, a glance screen for notifications, calls and time and to act as an indicator for charging, timers and more.

The Plasma Orange colour option of the Tecno Pova 8 is available for purchase for Rs 29,999 via Tecno-authorised retail outlets. However, the colourway is not listed at the moment on Flipkart. But since it's the official e-commerce partner for Tecno, expect to see it go live soon.
