Tecno Spark Go 2 Launched in India with IP64 Rating and 120Hz Display

The Tecno Spark Go 2 has finally launched in India with a 120Hz LCD display, IP64 rating, stereo speakers as well as an in-house AI assistant. Wtih that said, let's take a look at the specifications, pricing and availability details of the device.

Tecno Spark Go 2 Specifications and Features

The Spark Go 2 features a 6.67-inch 120Hz HD+ IPS LCD display, with a centre punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It has minimal bezels on the side but a noticeable chin at the bottom. The display sits on an 8.25mm thick body.

At the back, there's not much going in terms of design. There's a pill-shaped camera module that houses a 13 MP primary shooter. The second camera remains undisclosed at the time of writing. It could just be an auxiliary lens as seen on its predecessor. On the front, there is an 8 MP selfie shooter.

The device is powered by the budget Unisoc T7250 processor paired with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It also comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 15W wired charging support.

On the software side, the device ships with HiOS 15 based on Android 15 and offers some nifty software features. For instance, there is a new "no network communication" feature that uses Bluetooth to communicate with nearby devices in areas with bad network.

Also, added to the mix is Tecno's in-house AI assistant, Ella, which can communicate in multiple regional languages like Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and more. Apart from this, there is a feature "Speech enhancement" feature that uses AI for background noise reduction during calls.

Lastly, the device also offers some standout features like IP64 dust and water resistance rating, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, Dual SIM 4G connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, infrared sensor and a USB Type-C 2.0 port.

Tecno Spark Go 2 Price in India and Sale Date

The Tecno Spark Go 2 will retail for Rs 6,999 for the sole 4 GB + 64 GB variant. It will go on sale starting July 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST via Flipkart. Interested buyers will be able to choose from Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Turquoise Green and Veil White colour options.
