Back in August 2026, Airtel discontinued its popular Rs 299 plan and quietly raised the price of its Rs 859 plan to Rs 899. Now, Vodafone Idea (Vi) has done the same, as the telecom operator has quietly hiked the price of its equivalent 84-day prepaid plan.
Vi 84-Day Prepaid Plan Hiked by Rs 40 in India
We searched for the Rs 859 plan on Vi's official website and found that it is no longer listed. However, in its place, there is now an Rs 899 plan with 84 days of validity.
That brings a hike of Rs 40, or a 5% increase in value. The hike was first spotted by Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) on X. However, there is no official statement from the telecom operator yet.
