Airtel has started rolling out a Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer on its Rs 349 and Rs 399 prepaid plans, giving eligible subscribers a second recharge of the same plan at no extra cost
The "1+1 Recharge Free" is available for a limited time through the Airtel Thanks app and it appears to be showing up only for select accounts.
Airtel Buy 1 Get 1 Free Offer: Plan Benefits
Both the Rs 349 and Rs 399 prepaid recharge plans come with 28 days of validity, unlimited local and STD calls, and 100 SMS per day. With the free second recharge, you effectively get 56 days of service for the price of one.
The Rs 349 plan offers 2 GB of daily data along with unlimited 5G data in areas with Airtel 5G coverage. It also bundles Airtel’s free 12-month Adobe Express Premium subscription, which the telco values at around Rs 4,000, along with free Hellotunes and Airtel Safe.
The latter includes real-time spam call alerts, fraud link blocking and Airtel’s AI-powered Fraud Alert against OTP scams.
The Rs 399 plan goes a step further with truly unlimited 4G and 5G data. That means there’s no daily data cap and it works on all handsets, not just 5G phones. It also includes the Adobe Express Premium subscription.

To check whether you’re eligible, open the Airtel Thanks app and look for a “1+1 Recharge Free” tag on the Rs 349 or Rs 399 plan before you pay. If you don’t see the tag, the offer hasn’t been extended to your number yet.
We checked on our end and we have received the offer via the Airtel Thanks app.

Airtel hasn’t officially detailed how the free recharge is applied. With Jio’s version of the offer (via MyMobileIndia), the free month was credited as a voucher and activated automatically once the paid plan expired.
Airtel’s offer is likely to work similarly, but it’s worth checking the plan details in the app before recharging.
