Vivo has unveiled its mid-range Vivo S2 FE at its NEXT 2026 event. It's the second phone in the Vivo S2 series and focuses on durability and battery endurance while making sure buyers won't have to break the bank.
Vivo S2 FE Specifications and Features
Starting with the design, unlike the Vivo S2, which features a horizontal camera pill, the Vivo S2 FE gets a square camera island. The phone is pretty much a rebranded Vivo V80 Lite that was announced in Malaysia. The back and the chassis of the phone are made of plastic.
Display-wise, the smartphone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED unit that can get as bright as 2,000 nits. It's a BOE Q10+ display that covers a wide range of the P3 wide colour gamut. The bezels are almost symmetrical and thin, with a slightly pronounced chin.
The Vivo S2 FE is powered by the Dimensity 7300e processor. It's an octa-core CPU built on a 6nm process and features 4x Cortex-A78 cores and 4x Cortex-A55 cores. Performance is complemented by up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 3800 mm² Vapour Chamber
Powering the internals is a whopping 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. It's Vivo's "BlueVolt" Silicon Carbon battery that the brand claims can last for 32 hours of continuous streaming and 12 hours of continuous usage with 33% still left in the tank.
Optics-wise, the phone combines a 50 MP main f/1.8 wide camera with a 2 MP depth sensor. The selfies are handled by a 32 MP sensor.
On the software front, the phone comes pre-installed with OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. Vivo promises 3 major Android OS updates and 5 years of security patches.
Security is taken care of by an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, whereas connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. However, unlike the V80 Lite, the S2 FE misses out on NFC.
