Vivo V80 Lite 5G Launch Date and 10,000mAh Battery Confirmed

Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date for the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia through a promotional poster. The teaser also reveals a mammoth 10,000mAh battery, pointing to the phone's endurance and also reveals its two official colourways.

Vivo V80 Lite 5G Is Launching in Malaysia First

A new Facebook post by Vivo Malaysia has teased the Vivo V80 Lite via a poster, revealing that the phone will debut on September 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM MYT (or 4:30 PM IST).

While the poster showcases the phone in Pink and Green colour options, the pre-order page reveals it will also be offered in a standard Black option.

The Vivo V80 Lite's arrival isn't a surprise, given the phone has been spotted on Malaysian certification platforms such as SIRIM. For starters, it appeared with model number V2636, followed by a Geekbench listing which revealed the Dimensity 7300e processor. This could be a toned-down version of the regular Dimensity 7300 chipset.

Complementing the performance could be 6 GB of RAM, and running the show could be OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. That said, a previous TÜV Rheinland listing also confirmed that the V80 Lite will support 44W fast charging to refill its massive battery pack.

Interestingly, the V80 Lite moniker will not feature identical hardware across all regions. For starters, it is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S2 that launched in India. Besides, the smartphone has also surfaced in the Bluetooth SIG database under model numbers V2643 and V2644.

Benchmark leaks for the V2643 variant show a higher-tier Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor coupled with 8 GB of RAM. Therefore, there seems to be a bit of parity between the battery and performance, appealing to a wider audience.

With its huge battery, the V80 Lite could be one of the best battery smartphones to launch in Malaysia, and one of the best Vivo smartphones in terms of endurance. The phone can now be preordered on the Vivo Malaysia storefront, with initial sales starting on September 12, 2026.
