Vivo has silently expanded its T-series lineup in Mexico by launching a new budget phone, the Vivo T5. It is designed for buyers looking for an entry-level 4G smartphone with solid battery life, a large display, a capable processor and the latest software update.
Vivo T5 Specifications and Features
One of the key highlights of the Vivo T5 is its 7,200mAh battery, which can be quickly charged with the 44W fast USB-C charger bundled with the device.
At the front, the phone features a 6.75-inch HD+ 120 Hz LCD display with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and 1,250 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, the smartphone draws its power from the budget Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G chipset and is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is also virtual RAM expansion support of up to 12 GB. The Vivo T5 ships with OriginOS 6 update based on Android 16.
In terms of cameras, Vivo has fitted the phone with a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP secondary lens. Both are joined by a 32 MP selfie camera.
Rest, Vivo T5 is IP68 + IP69 rated, features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, single speaker, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual 4G SIM support, GPS and a USB-C 2.0 port.
As for pricing, the Vivo T5 costs 5,799 Mexican peso (approximately Rs 32,000) for the single 8 GB + 32 GB model. It comes in Dorado and Negro colour options.
