After the Vivo Y600 Pro launch in China, the brand has now introduced its affordable pair of earbuds, the Vivo TWS 5i. The earbuds feature an impressive battery capacity, spatial audio and Vivo's in-house audio tuning to offer a well-rounded listening experience in the segment.
Vivo TWS 5i Specifications and Features
The Vivo TWS 5i features a 10mm dynamic driver with a PU + PEEK polymer diaphragm. However, it's important to note that the earbuds do not offer ANC. But they try to make up for it with AI-powered noise reduction for calls and during windy scenarios.
Additionally, the earbuds are tuned by Vivo's Golden Ear Acoustics team and support DeepX 3.0 stereo audio. The newly launched pair also supports spatial audio and AAC, LC3 and SBC codecs. The Vivo TWS 5i also offer a dedicated low-latency gaming mode of 42 ms.

The earbuds are also lightweight, with each earbud weighing about 4.2 grams. With the charging case, the weight goes up to 42 grams only.
However, the battery life is impressive, with Vivo claiming up to 50 hours of backup on a single charge with the case. Without the case, each earbud will offer up to 11.5 hours of playback. To make the earbuds idea for usage at the gym or in light spills, the brand has also thrown an IP54 rating into the mix.
On the software front, the Vivo TWS 5i runs on BlueOS, bringing features like instant pairing, earbud tracking, real-time translation and more. There's also dual-device pairing to take advantage of. The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.4 to connect to eligible devices.
The Vivo TWS 5i price in China is set at CNY 119 (approximately Rs 1,600) and it comes in Ink Black, White Space and Sky Blue colourways. As for availability, the earbuds can be purchased from the Vivo China website currently.
