A few weeks back, Vivo introduced a new compact flagship, the S30 Pro Mini, in China. While speculations were rife that this device would launch in the global markets as the X200 FE, nothing was confirmed back then. However, looks like the rumours were true, after all.
Vivo has now started teasing the all-new X200 FE smartphone for its global markets, starting with Malaysia. A dedicated microsite is now live on the website, giving us a brief overview of the specs and the design of the smartphone.
Not just that. If you are in Malaysia and want to own this smartphone, the device is currently up for pre-registration for 20 Malaysian Ringgit (approximately Rs 410) for the 12 GB + 512 GB variant.

The Vivo X200 FE shares the same DNA as the S30 Pro Mini. So, the key USP of the device will be its compact form factor. It will sport 7.99mm of thickness and will weigh only 186 grams. This is even though it will come equipped with a 6,500mAh Silicon Carbon battery. Also added to the mix is 90W of wired fast charging.
From the teaser, it is evident that the X200 FE will carry forward Vivo's strategic partnership with Zeiss. It will feature a triple camera setup with a 50 MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS, a 50 MP IMX882 L-shaped telephoto lens, and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle camera sensor.

On the software side, it will come out of the box with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and, apart from the usual customisation options, will also bring a flurry of AI features. Apart from this, we also get to know about the colourways of the Vivo X200 FE. It will launch in four colours, viz. Blue Breeze, Yellow Glow, Pink Vibe and Black Luxe.
Apart from these officially confirmed details, thanks to the Geekbench appearance of the Vivo X200 FE recently, we know that it will be powered by the Dimensity 9300+ SoC. Leaks and reports have also revealed a couple of other key specifications. Here's a quick rundown of it all:
- MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC
- Up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage
- 6.31-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO AMOLED
- IP68 + IP69
- 50 MP telephoto lens
- Wi-Fi 6
- Bluetooth 5.4
- Dual-SIM setup, GPS, NFC
With that being said, although the Vivo X200 FE is a rebranded S30 Pro Mini, expect Vivo to tweak some of the specifications to better suit the global markets. Also, Vivo has not started teasing the device for India yet, but early leaks have hinted at a July 2025 launch window for the device.
As for the pricing, it is speculated to launch around the Rs 50,000 ballpark in India. However, the Malaysian launch price will offer a better insight into the same. We expect to hear more on the same soon and hopefully, will learn more about the device's launch in India as well.
