The first half of the year will be packed with exciting smartphone launches and one of them will be the Vivo X300 Ultra. The smartphone is expected to represent Vivo's peak camera engineering and new details now suggest that it could pack a flat screen and a dual 200 MP camera setup.
Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to boast Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
The first details of the Vivo X300 Ultra have surfaced, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The leak points to an engineering prototype featuring a 6.82-inch flat 2K BOE OLED display, said to offer ultra-narrow and uniform bezels thanks to LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Over-Moulding) technology.

Design-wise, the phone could feature a metal chassis and retain the massive, centrally aligned circular camera module similar to the Vivo X200 Ultra. Surprisingly, the prototype reportedly lacks a physical camera shutter button. While this could change in the final production unit, it's possible that Vivo could remove it to push the photography kit.
Under the hood, the phone could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The phone is also expected to flaunt a commendable set of cameras, as always.

The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to launch in the first half of 2026. Most importantly, a recent leak also hinted at the Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Ultra India launch being on the cards. So, in the coming year, we will most likely and hopefully see a lot of Ultra flagships launch in the subcontinent.
Vivo has yet to reveal a launch timeline for the smartphone. However, considering the Vivo X200 Ultra launched in April 2025, we expect the Vivo X300 Ultra to arrive at around the same time or earlier next year.
