For the past couple of months, an alleged Vivo X300 Max has been doing the rumour mill rounds. It was expected to launch alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra. Now, Vivo's Product Manager, Han Boxiao, has addressed these rumours and has confirmed that the leaked phone was in fact the upcoming Vivo X300s.
Vivo X300s Teased with Key Specifications
In an official Weibo post, Han Boxiao has confirmed that there is no smartphone in development called the Vivo X300 Max. He has revealed that the said phone is in fact the Vivo X300s and it will launch very soon in China as the Vivo X200s successor.

Alongside that, he has also revealed several of the core details of the phone. For starters, Vivo X300s will feature a 6.78-inch BOE Q10+ AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and Zeiss Color calibration. It will use Circular polarised light 2.0 technology for a hardware-level eye-friendly panel.
The teaser poster also mentions that the X300s will be the first X-series phone to support a 144 Hz native refresh rate in MOBA gaming. This brings a clear step up when compared to the 6.67-inch BOE Q9 120 Hz display of the X200s. Additionally, the smartphone will also feature the same “1511 War Drum Master” symmetrical dual speakers Pro stereo speaker system found inside the iQOO 15.

Boxiao claims that the new stereo speaker hardware implementation aims to provide a wider sound field, especially during gaming, for spatial sound and clearly audible minute details like footsteps and gunfire. It joins a new custom-built 751440 ultra-sensory vibration motor, which the product manager claims to be the biggest ever in an X-series phone.
Boxia says that the new 751440 vibration motor matches the intensity of a 1016 motor and offers 2.2 times the bandwidth of a traditional 9595 motor. Vivo has added support for over 10 popular titles for 4D haptics inside the Vivo X300s.
Vivo X300s Leaked Specifications
Aside from the above-mentioned details, Han Boxiao has not commented on any other details of the phone. However, based on existing rumours, the Vivo X300s will likely feature a Zeiss-branded triple camera setup with a 200 MP main sensor. The other two lenses are expected to be 50 MP periscope and 50 MP ultra-wide cameras.

This was also backed by tipster Roland Quandt, who spotted an undercover Vivo phone at MWC 2026, which he believed to be the Vivo X300 Max at that time. It is said to be powered by the Dimensity 9500 processor and feature a 7,000mAh battery. The phone is also said to feature 90W fast USB-C charging, 40W wireless charging and IP68 + IP69 ratings.
That said, with the cat officially out of the bag, we can expect Vivo X300s to launch in China as early as March 2026. Also, it will be interesting to see how Vivo prices the upcoming phone amidst the ongoing RAM crisis. It is unclear at the moment if the smartphone will arrive in India.
