It has only been a few months since the Vivo X300 series landed in India and even the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE are launching in the country only next month. However, the rumour mill is already abuzz with the next-gen Vivo X500 series, as new leaks point to two new family members - Vivo X500 Pro Max and X500 Pro Mini.
Vivo X500 Pro Max and X500 Pro Mini Tipped To Launch This Year
Notable tipsters Smart Pikachu and Digital Chat Station (DCS) have both taken to Weibo to hint at the arrival of Vivo X500 Pro Max and X500 Pro Mini. If true, this will mean that Vivo is planning to launch four new X500 series phones - the Vivo X500, X500 Pro, X500 Pro Mini and X500 Pro Max. While DCS has not namedropped the phones or the lineup, Pikachu's post gives better clarity.

It mentions two new X500 series phones in testing, one with a 6.4-inch display and the other with a 6.9-inch display. Based on previous leaks, the smaller screen size is expected to belong to the X500 Pro Mini and the larger display is of the X500 Pro Max.
Moreover, the tipster claims that the Pro Max model will bring a 50 MP LOFIC main camera and a 200 MP periscope lens. As for DCS's post, it mentions a new flagship "Pro Mini" phone, which a majority of the comments believe to be the Vivo X500 Pro Mini.
The last Pro Mini we had was the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, so this feels like a good comeback. In India, it could arrive as the Vivo X500 FE, especially since the Vivo X300 FE is already arriving in the country.

The phone is said to bring the same 50 MP LOFIC main camera as the X500 Pro Max and also feature a 2nm flagship chipset. While the exact chip is not confirmed, leaks have suggested the Dimensity 9600 for the phone.
That said, at the time of writing, there is no concrete evidence about the upcoming phones, so take them with a pinch of salt. With four new X500 series models, it will be interesting to see how Vivo positions all the four phones and at what price will they launch. Since, the lineup is not expected to break cover before Q3 2026, we still have a long way to go for more details to emerge. So, stay tuned.
