Vivo has silently unveiled a new affordably priced smartphone in Indonesia, the Y04s. It features a 90 Hz LCD display and is backed by a 6,000mAh battery and IP64 rating. Here is a detailed rundown of the specifications, pricing and availability details of the smartphone.

Vivo Y04s Specifications and Features

The major highlight with the Vivo Y04s is its 6,000mAh battery. Vivo claims that the smartphone can last for two days on a single charge. It can also maintain 80% of its battery health even after five years of continuous usage. However, the Y04s only supports 15W USB-C charging and the charger is bundled in the box.

On the front, there is a 6.74-inch HD+ 90 Hz IPS LCD display with up to 570 nits of peak brightness. The panel is surrounded by thin black bezels on the sides and a relatively thick bottom chin.

It also features a teardrop shaped centre-aligned selfie camera cutout. Even after packing such a massive battery capacity, the Y04s is only 8.9 mm thick and weight 202 grams.

At the back there is a vertical pill-shaped camera cutout that is home to a dual rear camera setup and an LED flash module. There is a second flash at the back, located just beside the camera island.

The setup is home to a 13 MP main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a QVGA lens with an f/3.0 aperture. The megapixel count of the second camera lens has not been revealed at the time of writing. There is also a 5 MP selfie camera at the front.

Underneath, there is the budget Unisoc T612 chipset powering the device. It is paired with 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64 GB of eMMC5.1 storage. There is also the option to virtually extend the RAM by up to 4 GB. The onboard memory is also expandable by up to 1 TB via microSD card expansion. The Y04s ships with Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out of the box.

In terms of durability, Vivo has not mentioned any kind of comprehensive protection for the display. However, the device is IP64 rated for dust and water resistance and is SGS-5 Star certified for drop and shock resistance.

Apart from this, the device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a single bottom-firing speaker, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, 4G connectivity, dual hybrid SIM support, GPS and a USB-C 2.0 port.

Vivo Y04s Price in Indonesia and Sale Date

Vivo Y04s will retail in Indonesia at 1,399,000 Indonesian rupiah (approximately Rs 7,500). It is available in a single 4 GB + 64 GB RAM and storage configuration.

The smartphone is available to purchase starting today, that is, August 4, 2025, and is already listed on the official Vivo Indonesia website, akulaku, Shopee and blibli e-commerce stores. Interested buyers can opt for either the Crystal Purple or Jade Green colour option.
