Vivo has officially started teasing the Vivo X500 series launch in India along with the ZEISS Teleconverter lens and the Vivo Watch GT 2.
Vivo X500 Series India Launch Confirmed
The company has started teasing the Vivo X500 series in India with the tagline “ZEISS Cinematics. Create Further.” The teaser says the phones are “Coming Soon.”
For the teaser image, Vivo is using the Vivo X500 Pro Max in the Sunset Orange colour option. The lineup is also expected to include the standard Vivo X500 and the Vivo X500 Pro.
Also, the teaser confirms that the X500 series will continue Vivo’s camera partnership with ZEISS. It also highlights the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, an external lens that offers up to 400 mm of focal length.
However, the converter will only work with the Vivo X500 Pro Max and will be sold separately. Moreover, all phones will come with the OriginOS 7 update based on Android 17 out of the box.
The teaser also shows the Vivo Watch GT 2, which suggests the smartwatch could launch along with the phones in India. The smartwatch is already available in other markets with a 2.07-inch AMOLED display and up to 33 days of battery life.

Vivo X500 Series Expected Price in India
Vivo has not yet hinted at how much the Vivo X500 series will cost in India. However, given that the RAM crisis is in full swing, we can expect it to be on the higher end. For reference, here’s how the X500 series is priced in China:
| Model | Starting Price (China) |
|---|---|
| Vivo X500 | 5,499 Chinese yuan (approx. Rs 79,000) |
| Vivo X500 Pro | 6,499 Chinese yuan (approx. Rs 93,000) |
| Vivo X500 Pro Max | 6,999 Chinese yuan (approx. Rs 1,00,000) |
That said, Indian prices will obviously be higher than the Chinese ones due to import duties and other charges. We can expect the regular Vivo X500 price in India to be set somewhere around Rs 95,000, while the other two phones could easily cross a lakh.
Moreover, the Vivo X500 series will also face tough competition from the Oppo Find X10 and the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max, which launched last month for Rs 1,39,999 and Rs 1,99,999, respectively.
