Vivo Y400 Could Launch in India Sooner than Expected

Vivo seems to be gearing up to launch its Y400 smartphone in India pretty soon. An exclusive report from 91mobiles has given us an idea as to when the Vivo Y400 will launch in India. We also get to know of some of its key specifications. 

Just last month, the Vivo Y400 Pro launched in India. Till now, there is no word from the brand as to when the standard Y400 will go official in the subcontinent. But, according to 91Mobiles, the Vivo Y400 could launch in India as early as August 2025.

To recall, the Vivo Y300 launched in November 2024. So, this time around, it looks like Vivo is advancing the Y400 launch by three months. The report, however, has not mentioned any specific launch date.

In terms of colour options, the Y400 will reportedly launch in the Olive Green and Glam White colourways. Compared to the Y300's Titanium Silver, Emerald Green and Phantom Purple colour options, it looks like the Y400 is getting one less colour this time around.

In terms of the key specifications, the report only mentions 120 Hz AMOLED display for the Y400. Other than that, no other key detail is available at this time. However, if we go by the Vivo Y300 specs, we can expect the Y400 to launch in India with the following set of features:

With that said, these are not the confirmed specifications for the Vivo Y400. So, take it all with a grain of salt. The Y300 retailed from Rs 21,999. So, expect the Y400 to launch in India around the same ballpark. We will know more once the brand officially confirms the existence of the device in the coming days.
