The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G has finally gone official in India as the "segment's slimmest 3D curved display smartphone." Vivo’s new mid-ranger features the Dimensity 7300, a hefty 5,500mAh battery, and more under the hood. So, let's get into the complete specifications of the Vivo Y400 Pro alongside its pricing and availability details.

Starting off with the display, the device features a 6.77-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, this panel flaunts a peak brightness of 4,500 nits to make it easier to view under direct sunlight. There's also a touch sampling rate of 300Hz to keep things smooth and responsive.

This display is placed on a 7.49mm slim body which weighs about 182 grams. Moreover, Vivo has also thrown in IP65 rating for protection against the elements. 

For performance, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC which pairs up with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. When it comes to software, the Vivo Y400 Pro runs on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. 

For photography, the device sports dual rear cameras with a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor at the helm and a secondary 2 MP sensor. At the front, there is a 32 MP shooter for selfies. For videos, both the front and rear cameras support up to 4K video recording.

There's an added focus on AI as well, with the Vivo Y400 Pro bringing feature like AI Erase 2.0 and AI Photo Enhance. Bonus AI features also include AI Note Assist, AI Transcript Assist, AI Screen Translation, and AI Superlink alongside Circle to Search. 

Fueling it all is a 5,500mAh battery capacity with 90W fast charging which the brand claims can charge the phone up to 50% in just 19 minutes. 

Connectivity options are adequate as well, including dual nano SIM slots with both 4G and 5G connectivity. The Vivo Y400 Pro also uses Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi,  GPS, USB-C port as well as OTG support.

The phone is currently up for pre-ordering via the official Vivo India website and Amazon. However, open sales will start from June 27, 2025, on these platforms as well as Flipkart and partner retail stores. The phone comes in the Freestyle White, Nebula Purple and Fest Gold colour options. 

In terms of offers, buyers can avail of an instant Rs 2,500 discount using SBI, ICICI and HDFC Bank credit card EMIs. However, do note that this offer is valid until June 30, 2025.
