Only last week Vivo started teasing its upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Y400 Pro 5G. The device also appeared on Amazon, giving us a good look at its design. And now, the brand has officially taken the wraps off its India launch date.
According to an official Vivo India microsite listing, the Y400 Pro 5G is set to launch officially on June 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST. So, we will only have to wait four more days for the device to break cover.
The microsite has given us a glimpse into the back design of the Vivo Y400 Pro as well. It reveals a dual camera setup aligned vertically with a ring LED flash module at the bottom. It will feature a textured back panel, possibly made out of plastic. It is also curved from the back, making the plastic mid-frame thin.
While Vivo has not yet revealed the front and key specifications of the device, an accidental Amazon India listing that we reported last week provided a brief glimpse into them. This also reveals the fact that the device, on launch, will be available to purchase via the Amazon India website.

From the above image, it is evident that the device will feature a curved display, and based on the leaked specifications, it will be a Full HD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED panel. The listing has also revealed that the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC will be powering the device, which will most likely be paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Besides, one of the official colourways will be Freestyle White.
Furthermore, as it is now confirmed, the device will come with a dual camera setup and, as per the listing, will feature a 50 MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor and another 2 MP macro sensor. On the selfie front, it could feature a 32 MP shooter.
On the software front, the device will most likely run on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15 out of the box and will be equipped with a 5,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. Lastly, the listing also mentioned an IP65 rating alongside a weight of 182 grams.
With that being said, although Vivo has not revealed the official pricing of the device, we can expect it to cost below Rs 25,000.
