Vivo has launched a new "Y600" series phone in China: the Vivo Y600. The smartphone arrives as a premium mid-ranger with a 1.5K display, a Dimensity processor, a 50 MP camera and a massive battery.

As is clearly evident, the standout feature of the Vivo Y600 is its huge battery capacity. The phone ships with a 10,000mAh cell capacity and comes with 44W fast charging.
There is also 27W reverse wired charging support to help users top up their TWS, power bank, laptop and even other smartphones.
Due to the monstrous battery capacity, the phone measures 8.59mm in thickness and weighs 224 grams.
At the front, the smartphone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K (2800 x 1260 pixels) 120 Hz AMOLED display with 3,840 Hz of PWM dimming, SGS Blue Light certification and up to 2,000 nits of global peak brightness.
For performance, the Vivo Y600 makes use of the Dimensity 7300e processor, which is a slightly toned-down variant of the Dimensity 7400 chipset. The SoC is paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6.
Camera-wise, the Vivo Y600 uses a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. For selfies, the phone uses an 8 MP shooter with an f/2.05 aperture.
For durability, the phone features military-grade SGS Gold Label Five-Star Drop and Fall Resistance certification and an official IP68 + IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
Aside from that, the Vivo Y600 brings an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, dual SIM 5G and a USB-C 2.0 port.

As for the pricing, the Vivo Y600 starts at 1,999 Chinese yuan (approx. Rs 28,500) for the 6 GB + 128 GB model. Users can also go for the top 8 GB + 256 GB variant.
Interested folks can choose from three distinct colour options: Sapphire Blue, Diamond Gold and Obsidian Black.
Since it seems to be a rebranded Vivo S2 FE, which has already launched in India, it's unlikely the Vivo Y600 will make it there.
