Xiaomi has officially confirmed the Xiaomi 18 Pro’s India launch at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon event at IMC 2026 in New Delhi. The series was unveiled in China back in September 2026 and brings the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
Xiaomi 18 Pro is Coming to India
While the brand didn't reveal the exact launch date, the Snapdragon Day event confirms that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will be among the first few devices to launch in the subcontinent with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series processor.

The on-stage announcement was led by Xiaomi's Associate Director of Product Marketing, Gautam Batra. He was seen holding the Galaxy Blue colour of the Xiaomi 18 Pro with the rear display turned on.
While this confirms the arrival of the standard Pro variant, there's no information about the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max arrival in the country. Considering smartphone prices continue to defy reality, Xiaomi may choose to hold off on launching the Pro Max.
Since the phones have already launched in China, core specifications aren't a mystery. For starters, they incorporate 6.4-inch and 6.9-inch 1.5K TCL M11 Super Pixel 2.0 displays with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The defining feature of this panel is the Privacy screen, just like the one found on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It hides sensitive information using total internal reflection, obscuring content so that bad actors cannot catch a glimpse of important information. Both also feature 2.7-inch and 2.9-inch 120 Hz rear displays.
Powering the Xiaomi 18 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, whereas the Pro Max gets a beefier Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor.
Both feature triple cameras with a 200 MP main Light Hunter 960L sensor, alongside a 200 MP HP5 telephoto sensor and a 50 MP ultrawide, all of which are tuned by Leica.

While the Xiaomi 18 Pro gets a 7,000mAh battery, the Pro Max is fitted with a larger 8,500mAh cell. Both support 100W fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 27W reverse wired charging.
Xiaomi 18 Pro series will also be the first in India to run HyperOS 4 based on Android 17 out of the box, while other HyperOS 4-eligible phones are expected to get the update later.
With the launch information out of the way, don't expect these flagships to cost the same as the Xiaomi 17 Pro series. The ongoing RAM crisis means these flagships could see a significant price markup.
While the exact pricing and launch date are currently unknown, more information should be revealed as we inch closer to the launch, so stay tuned.
