Xiaomi's next flagship phone is still months away from release, yet reports about its specifications are frequently surfacing online. We already know that the phone will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, but a new leak suggests that the phone will have a mid-size flat screen display with narrow bezels and a massive 7,000 mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Key Specifications Leaked
According to the latest post by a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Xiaomi 18 already has an engineering prototype in development and it will come with a 2nm processor, dual 200 MP cameras with large sensors.
He also mentions that it will be a mid-size phone with a completely flat screen, narrow bezels that will be equal on all sides and a battery capacity that starts with "7", suggesting a 7,000 mAh cell.

We already know from the earlier Xiaomi 18 leaked specifications that it will come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, which is a 2nm processor. However, the mention of dual large sensors for cameras could mean that he is talking about the Xiaomi 18 Pro which is rumoured to come with multiple 200 MP cameras, instead of the base Xiaomi 18, which might feature a single 200 MP shooter.
The phone will also see a flat screen with slim bezels on all sides, made possible by new LIPO packaging technology. However, the exact screen size is unknown. We can suspect that it will be the same 6.3-inch screen as seen on the Xiaomi 17 Pro, given that it will be a "mid-size phone".
Early Xiaomi 18 design leak also suggests that it will look like the iPhone 16 Pro with similar camera and flash placement. This wouldn't be too off-brand for the company, given how the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max takes a lot of "inspiration" from Apple's offerings. The Xiaomi 18, along with the Xiaomi 18 Pro, is rumoured to launch sometime in September, as is the tradition with the company's flagship launches.
