A few hours back, Xiaomi revealed the launch date of its upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Now, it has been confirmed that the Xiaomi Watch 5 and Xiaomi Buds 6 will also go official in China on the same date.
Xiaomi Watch 5 and Xiaomi Buds 6 China launch date set for December 25
The official Xiaomi Weibo account has confirmed that the all-new Xiaomi Watch 5 and Xiaomi Buds 6 will go official in China on December 25, 2025. Both products will be unveiled at a dedicated launch event from 19:00 CST (or 4:30 PM IST) onwards.

As for their specs, the Xiaomi Watch 5 will be the most premium offering of the lot. It is going to feature a dual-chip architecture with the Snapdragon W5 processor and the BES 2800 chip. This is also going to be the first Xiaomi smartwatch to bring support for both EMG (electromyography) and ECG (electrocardiogram).
It will retain the same circular AMOLED display from the Xiaomi Watch 5 and will have Sapphire Crystal protection on top. The display will be encased inside a one-piece forged stainless steel casing and can be paired with three different styled straps.

Coming to the Xiaomi Buds 6, these are in the half-ear design and lack silicone eartips. Xiaomi is calling this the biometric curve design. It is touted to offer CD-level lossless audio quality along with nifty AI features like AI translation and automatic summarisation. The Buds 6 will be available in three different colourways.
That said, since the Xiaomi Watch 5 and Xiaomi Buds 6 are launching alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China, expect to see a packed launch event this week. Since, all three products are launching in just three days time, we will be back with more information regarding them.
