The iPhone 18 is missing from the list since it is rumoured that Apple might push the launch of the iPhone 18 to sometime in early 2027.

Recent reports suggest that iOS 27 will be a significant step up for Apple Intelligence. It will introduce the all-new Google Gemini-powered Siri with a dedicated ChatGPT-like Siri app for conversations, AI shortcuts, AI photo editing and more. So, here is a list of all iOS 27 Apple Intelligence-eligible iPhones.

iOS 27 Features

While iOS 27 won't be as significant an update as iOS 26, according to rumours, there are still plenty of features and improvements to be excited about. Here is a rundown of iOS 27 features:

  • Dedicated Siri app: Apple is bringing a new dedicated Siri app to iOS 27, allowing users to interact with the AI assistant like a chatbot and share files, photos or talk with it using text or voice, similar to ChatGPT or Gemini.
  • New Siri pop-up animation: Siri could also see a new animation, appearing and disappearing from the Dynamic Island in a more interactive fashion.
  • Siri in the Camera app: Siri is also replacing Visual Intelligence with its own dedicated section on the iOS Camera app. Users will be able to click photos and get information about it from the AI.
  • Customisable camera viewfinder: Apple will also unlock the ability to customise top widgets on the camera app and add the ones that people use most often.
  • AI Photo Editing Tools: The Photos app will see two new image editing options, Extend and Reframe, allowing you to expand or readjust the photo with the help of AI.
  • Create shortcuts with prompts: Apple will also make it easier to create shortcuts with natural language in iOS 27. Using the power of AI, users can type a prompt and get the shortcut for it instead of manually making one themselves.

iOS 27 Release Date: Developer Beta Now Available

With the announcement of iOS 27 at WWDC 2026, the first developer beta will be available starting today, i.e., on June 8. Meanwhile, iOS 27 public beta is expected to arrive sometime in July to August 2026, and the final public release will be around September alongside the iPhone 18 launch.

That is about all we have on iOS 27 eligible devices for now. The fact that Apple is still supporting such a huge lineup of devices for its latest update is still commendable. But if your phone didn't make it to the list, then it is time to upgrade to a newer iPhone.
