Summary

  • The iPhone 15 will be available for Rs 43,749 at a 27% discount in the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2025 sale.
  • This makes it the second iPhone available under Rs 45,000, the first being the iPhone 14.
  • Despite the price drop, the iPhone 15 still isn't a good deal as its hardware is dated, and it lacks Apple Intelligence.

The Amazon Great Indian Festival 2025 is here with offers across different categories, more prominently on smartphones. While there are lots of discounts on Android devices, there's only one iPhone on sale – iPhone 15. But is the iPhone 15 deal on Amazon Great Indian Festival worth it, and should you buy it during the sale?

The iPhone 15 will be available for effectively Rs 43,749 on Amazon, which is a decent 27% markdown from its regular price of Rs 59,990. It's worth noting that the discount can only be availed if you have an SBI credit card, which offers a 10% discount.

So, should you buy the iPhone 15 in the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2025? The answer is no. The iPhone 15 is a no-go, and there are some valid reasons why.

  • For Rs 43,749, its price is pretty steep for a two-year-old iPhone, especially when the iPhone 17 is already out.
  • iPhone 16 is available for just Rs 7,000 more in Flipkart's Big Billion Days 2025 sale.
  • iPhone 15 is powered by the A16 chipset, which is three generations behind the latest Apple A19 chip on the iPhone 17.
  • iPhone 15 lacks Apple Intelligence features like object eraser, visual intelligence and more
  • The iPhone 15 has a smaller 6.1-inch 60 Hz display, compared to the 6.3-inch 120Hz panel on the latest iPhone 17.
  • The iPhone 15 lacks a Ceramic Shield protection on the display.
  • The iPhone 15 only offers up to 20 hours of video playback, that's 30% lower than the iPhone 17's battery that lasts up to 30 hours.

The iPhone 15 could make sense if your budget is strictly under Rs 45,000. But we would still recommend against it, as the lack of key hardware features and Apple Intelligence is far too great to ignore. Or, you could hop onto the Android side of things, as the Galaxy S24 and Pixel 9 will receive their biggest price drops yet during Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale.
