Vivo V40e Review

Featured in Vivo Curved Display Phones

The Vivo V40e is for those who prioritise design, good main camera and curved display. It is not the most well-rounded phone for the price and fails to deliver when it comes to camera performance and overall smartphone experience. On top of that, the OS feels unpolished and lacklustre, but it does offer some actually useful camera AI features, if you value that over anything else.

Pros

  • Attractive design with IP64 rating
  • Bright and fast curved AMOLED screen
  • Consistent main camera shots
  • Useful AI features
  • Full-day battery backup
  • Charges quite fast
  • Decent update policy

Cons

  • Weak processor for the price
  • Lacks stereo speakers
  • Mediocre secondary cameras
  • Bloated and dated OS experience
