Summary

  • The AI+ Nova 5G and AI+ Pulse are confirmed to launch in India on July via Flipkart.
  • Nova 5G features a dual-tone camera module design with a 50 MP primary AI lens.
  • Pulse is seen flaunting a textured back panel and a more gamer-esque design.

For the past few weeks, Madhav Sheth-backed AI+ has been sharing back-to-back teasers for the launch of its latest range of smartphones. However, the exact names of these smartphones were under wraps. Well, not anymore, as the AI+ Nova 5G and AI+ Pulse are now confirmed to launch in India.

The brand has updated its Flipkart microsite, which confirmed the monikers. Both devices will be part of the AI+ portfolio of AI-first devices and will target the budget smartphone segment in the Country.

Both the Nova 5G and the Pulse were revealed last week as well, when the brand decided to give us our first official look at the AI+ devices. But, the brand stayed silent on what they were going to be called.

But now, we know that the AI+ Nova 5G will come with a dual-tone design around the camera module. It will offer a dual rear camera setup, housed within a squircle. The lenses will also have an outer, red-accented ring.

While we do not know the megapixel value of the secondary camera, it is evident that the primary camera will be a 50 MP sensor, thanks to the branding on the back panel. Thanks to the "Matrix AI Camera" lettering near the module, we also know that the Nova 5G cameras will be backed by AI features.

Meanwhile, the AI+ Pulse will arrive with a textured back panel with a large circular cutout, housing the 50 MP primary sensor. Below that is a smaller, pill-shaped cutout horizontally housing the secondary camera lens. At first glance, it has a more gamer-esque design.

Both phones feature a boxy design with what appears to be a plastic back panel and mid-frame. And on the front, the display will most likely feature an IPS LCD panel with a waterdrop notch design and a considerably thick bottom bezel. Apart from this, both phones will launch in the same Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Violet colour options.

The brand has also confirmed its upcoming smartphones to run on NxtQuantum OS. Moreover, Sheth has already confirmed the new AI+ phones to be affordable and start from Rs 5,000 in the subcontinent. The devices will be sold in India via Flipkart and will launch somewhere in July 2025.

Thanks to a previous leak, we also know that a possible Nova 2 5G is also on the way.

That's all we know about these devices for now. However, since the brand is expected to launch more than two AI+ phones, we might get to see more devices get unveiled in the coming days. So, stay tuned.
