Apple is expected to unveil the next generation of iPhones later this year, and it looks like we're only weeks away from the official launch. A new report has surfaced online that hints the date when Apple could host the launch event for the upcoming iPhones.
According to German publication iphone-ticker.de, Apple appears to have scheduled its iPhone 17 launch event on September 9, 2025, as per internal information from German mobile operators.
This date falls in line with Mark Gurman's earlier report, which hinted at an announcement during the second week of September. At the time, it was suggested that the date for Apple's upcoming event could either be Tuesday, September 9, 2025, or Wednesday, September 10, 2025. So, the information from the latest report has high chances of being accurate.

Apple is expected to launch at least eight different products during its September event. The highlight of the event is most certain going to be the new iPhone 17 lineup which will consist of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Other than phones, the Cupertino company is also expected to announce the AirPods Pro 3, Watch Series 11, Watch Ultra 3 and a third generation Apple Watch SE.
As is the case with any major iPhone launch, Apple will start offering the new lineup on pre-orders from the Friday that follows the announcement date, i.e., September 12, 2025. This could then be followed by shipping which is expected exactly a week after, on September 19, 2025 and on the same day, the company could start delivering the new iPhones to Apple stores and partners.
