If accurate, the upcoming iPhone Fold could easily become Apple's most expensive iPhone to date, reinforcing its position as an ultra-premium offering. Apple's first foldable iPhone is widely expected to adopt a book-style folding design, similar to existing foldable phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.

As per earlier reports, the foldable iPhone could feature a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.8-inch internal screen. A brand new leak also indicates that Apple's first foldable iPhone may work like an iPad Mini in terms of usability.

Design leaks have also given us an early glimpse at the iPhone Fold's possible look. Leaked iPhone Fold renders suggest Apple could introduce a new wide foldable form factor.

The iPhone Fold launch is widely tipped to happen sometime in 2026 itself, likely alongside the iPhone 18 series. However, Apple may still be experimenting with branding. A previous report suggests the foldable could debut as either the iPhone Ultra or iPhone Fold

Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly exploring multiple foldable designs. Apart from the book-style model, the Cupertino giant is said to be working on a clamshell-style foldable iPhone as well.

Despite being a premium offering, leaks claim the foldable iPhone may ditch the telephoto camera to accommodate the folding design and internal hardware constraints.

While Apple has yet to confirm any details, the steady stream of leaks suggests the company's long-awaited foldable iPhone could be a reality soon.
