Apple has rolled out the iOS 26.0.1 update, which is the first patch update since iOS 26 rolled out. This new update is aimed at ironing out critical issues that have been affecting the newly launched iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air.
iOS 26.0.1 update release notes

According to release notes posted by Apple, the iOS 26.0.1 update addresses the following problems:
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dropouts – Some iPhone 17, iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro units were disconnecting from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth intermittently, which has now been fixed.
- Cellular network issues – A minority of users couldn't connect to cellular networks in the new update.
- Camera bugs – Under certain lighting conditions, the iPhone 17, Air and 17 Pro photos showed up odd visual artifacts
- App icon tint bug – Some tinted app icons would disappear and reappear blank.
- VoiceOver getting disabled – A particularly ugly accessibility bug was the VoiceOver accessibility feature disabling on its own for those relying on screen readers
Apart from this, the new update bundles undisclosed security patches to further stabilise iOS 26 on the iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air. The iOS 26.0.1 release comes less than two weeks after the iOS 26 stable update rolled out.
Users can download the update by heading over to Settings -> General -> Software Update. For those wondering, it's a 939.5 MB update.
Apple is expected to follow up with additional patches in the coming weeks as more issues are identified across iOS 26.
