Google Pixel 10a Launched in India with Tensor G4 and 5,100mAh Battery

The wait is over as Google has now taken the wraps off the Pixel 10a in India. Staying true to the "a" series, the latest entry refines an already established template, blending the brand's in-house Tensor silicon, seven years of software support and Android 16 features inside a compact form factor.

Google Pixel 10a Specifications and Features

Starting with the design, the all-new Google Pixel 10a is a mirror image of last year's Pixel 9a. Apart from a few new colourways, both phones are hard to differentiate. However, there are subtle changes.

For instance, the flush dual-camera deco at the back is now more oval in shape. It is ever so slightly wider in comparison to the Pixel 9a's relatively compact aspect ratio. Also, just like the last-gen model, the Pixel 10a also brings uniform display bezels to the table with a centre punch-hole selfie camera cutout. However, the display is brighter at 3,000 nits, up from 2,700 nits on the last gen.

So, design-wise, Google has decided to stick with what has worked for them. However, that's not where the similarities end. The Pixel 10a uses the same Tensor G4 processor as the Pixel 9a. Google Pixel 10a Price in India and Sale Date

The Google Pixel 10a starting price in India has been set at Rs 49,999 for the single 8 GB + 256 GB option. Pre-orders for the phone are already live via the official Google India Store website and Flipkart.

It will go on open sale from March 6, 2026, and interested folks will be able to purchase the smartphone in Obsidian, Berry, Lavender and Fog colourways. Moreover, those who subscribed to the Pixel 10a via the Google Store are also eligible for up to Rs 2,000 store credits.
