Google Confirms Pixel 10a Pre-orders Start February 18

After many leaks and rumours, Google has officially announced that its next mid-range contender, the Pixel 10a, will be up for pre-orders in the next few weeks, including in the subcontinent. Besides, the brand is also running a promotional campaign with perks for subscribers on the Google Store.

Pixel 10a will stick to the same flat design

In the official emails sent out by Google, the brand has confirmed that pre-orders for the Pixel 10a start on February 18, 2026. Besides, the brand has confirmed that the Pixel 10a will retain the design language introduced by the Pixel 9a, with a flush rear panel and no camera bump enclosed in a metal chassis.

This cements the move away from the iconic Pixel Visor bar (now camera island) design that defined the earlier Pixel generations. While the announcement doesn't reveal the smartphone from the front, we expect it to boast the same 6.3-inch display with chunky bezels.

Besides, the current promotional material reveals the Pixel 10a in a blue shade, which appears to be a slightly darker shade of blue compared to the Iris colourway of the Pixel 9a. However, it's still a tad bit lighter than the Indigo on the Pixel 10.

While the announcement doesn't reveal any key specifications of the smartphone, rumours suggest it could arrive with a boosted Tensor G4 processor, a brighter 6.3-inch 120Hz display, but stick to the same 5,100mAh capacity battery with 23W charging speed.

Optics-wise, there's expected to be no change with a 48 MP primary snapper and a 13 MP ultrawide. Some of the other features could include an in-display fingerprint scanner, 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM, 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage and Android 16 features with Google's signature 7 years of updates.

As for the launch date, since pre-orders start on February 18, 2026, we expect the smartphone to launch and go on sale by the end of February 2026 or in the first week of March 2026.
