Google announced its Veo 3 video generation tool back in May at the Google I/O 2025 and was first rolled out in the US. Well, the popular tool has finally made it to India now alongside a couple of other countries.
The announcement comes from Google's VP Josh Woodward on X after which Google uploaded a video to YouTube showcasing Veo 3's capabilities. The video showcased is a combination of many smaller videos generated by Veo 3, involving India-specific terrain, objects, and people.

It's worth noting that the model is Veo 3 Fast and not Quality, which Google showcased during its I/O event.
Veo 3 is available for all Google AI Pro subscribers and has a limit of three videos per day at 720p and a maximum length of 8 seconds. If already subscribed to Google's AI Pro plan, Woodward outlines that all users need to do is head over to the Gemini app, tap the Video icon and describe the video to get started.

Veo 3 also appears to be rolling out in other countries, including all of Europe and Indonesia. Besides, it also supports features such as text-to-video generation. The photo-to-video generation feature is "almost ready" and will be rolled out soon.
Veo 3 Fast can still generate videos with sound. It's available in the Google AI Pro plan and offers Veo 3 via the more efficient Veo 3 Fast model. The AI Ultra plan that offers Veo 3 Quality model is still limited to the US. Although Google lists it in its AI plans in India, we're not sure when it will arrive.
The Google AI Pro plan also offers users 1,000 monthly AI credits and 2 TB of storage for Rs 1,950 a month. Users also get Whisk for image to video generation with Veo 2, and Flow to create cinematic scenes using Veo 3.
