2025 has been the year of big battery smartphones. From phones sporting 6,000mAh casually to a staggering 8,000mAh capacity that made powerbanks sweat, we saw it all. Now, it looks like 2026 is going to be even more interesting with Honor prepping the Power 2 with a battery capacity of over 10,000mAh.
Honor Power 2 battery capacity could exceed 10,000mAh
According to tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Honor Power 2 smartphone is on track to sport a staggering 10,080mAh battery capacity. It is alleged to launch as a mid-range smartphone and is expected to "break all battery life records".

For those unaware, when Honor Power launched back in April 2025, it was the only phone to sport an 8,000mAh battery. In fact, it remains the only phone to do so even today. Hence, an increase in battery capacity by almost 2,080mAh in just a span of a few months is truly an impressive feat.
Even more so considering the fact that an earlier Honor Power 2 battery and thickness leak from DCS suggested that the smartphone will be only 8 mm in thickness. So, if this turns true, we could be looking at the very first and quite possibly the only above 10,000mAh battery capacity phone of 2026.

Aside from a big battery, DCS also claims that Honor Power 2 will sport a big 6.79-inch 1.5K LTPS flat AMOLED display and will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Dimensity 8500 processor. It is said to bring a massive jump in power over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor used inside the Honor Power
Moreover, the smartphone is said to bring a 50 MP main camera and a 16 MP selfie shooter. So, camera-wise, it looks like the second-gen phone will not have much difference than the first one. Charging speed however, is getting a boost at 80W compared to the Power's 66W.
Lastly, expect three new colourways with the Power 2 – Sunrise Orange, Snow White and Midnight Black. That said, since the upcoming phone is said to break cover by early February 2026, expect official details to crop up soon.
